Q. 1-1 I can’t log into PowerWebBuilder. I do not have the URL/userid/password. Can you help me?

A. This is not something Mercantec can assist you with. You need to contact your Service Provider (SP) because your access to PowerWebBuilder is through their server. They are the only people with access to your login information and will need to resolve this issue for you.

Q. 1-2 How do I change my PowerWebBuilder password?

A. You must know your current password to change it. In the Office drawer, click the Security tab. Enter your current password in the Old Password field. Enter the new password in the New Password field. Reenter the new password in the Confirm New Password field. Click Change. Click OK in response to the confirmation message. Your password is changed.

Q. 2-1 How do I open PowerWebBuilder?

A. When you complete your login to Power Commerce, the PowerManager screen opens. The link options available on the PowerManager screen are different based on whether you have a published site.

Q. 3-1 I published my site. Where is it? How can I see what I've published?

A. Click the "PowerManager" link (located in the blue area above the screen number) to open the PowerManager page. Click the "View my site" link to open your published site.

Q. 3-2 The changes I just made do not appear when I click Preview. What did I do wrong?

A. If you have already previewed your site, you may need clear your browser's cache to retrieve the page from the web server rather than the obsolete version that is stored in your local machine.
