Deleting Images

To delete an image from a page

Deleting an image from a site page removes it from that location only. The image is not deleted from the Image Library.

  1. In the Web Site drawer, click the Site Pages tab.

  2. Click the navigation button of the page that contains the image to be deleted. The selected page is displayed.

  3. Select the image to be deleted from the page.

  4. Click Delete. The image is removed from the page.

To delete an image from the Image Library

Only merchant-uploaded images can be deleted from the image library. Images must be removed from all site pages and the site must be republished before deleting images from the library. Supplied images cannot be deleted from the image library.

  1. In the Web Site drawer, click the Images tab.

  2. Select the directory that contains the image to be deleted from the Image Library directory list.

  3. Select the image to be deleted from the Image Library contents list.

NOTE: To select more than one image, press and hold <Ctrl> while clicking to select additional images in the list.

  1. Click Delete to remove the current image from the library. Click OK to respond to the Are You Sure? message.

WARNING: Deleting an image used in a published page creates a broken image. If this occurs, delete the image from the page and republish your site before deleting the image from the library or you will have to repair the broken image to fix your site.
