Previewing

To preview a single page

The WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) page view of the PowerWebBuilder Web Site Editor displays a page in much the same manner that it appears in a browser except that links are disabled  

  1. In the Web Site drawer, click the Site Pages tab.

  2. Click the navigation button of the page you want to view. The selected page is displayed.

  3. Scroll as necessary to view the contents of the selected page.

  4. To view the page exactly as it will appear when published, preview your site.

To preview your site

  1. In the Web Site drawer, click the Site Pages tab.

  2. Click Preview. You will be prompted to save changes. Click OK in response to the confirmation message. A new browser window opens and displays your site as it will look when published.

NOTE: If you have already previewed your site, you may need clear your browser's cache to retrieve the page from the web server rather than the obsolete version that is stored in your local machine.

  1. Click the Windows Close (x) button on the browser to return to PowerWebBuilder.
