Renaming Images

To change the name of an image

Only uploaded images can be renamed. Rename an image before you insert it on a page.

  1. In the Web Site drawer, click the Images tab.

  2. Select the image to rename from the Image Library.

  1. Click Edit Name.

  2. Click in the field and edit the image name.

WARNING: Renaming an image used in a page creates a broken image. If this occurs, repair the broken image to fix your site.

  1. Click OK. The image name is changed in the Image Library.
