2 Site Information screen

Site information is used mainly by search engines when they spider your site. A spider, or webcrawler, is a program that automatically finds Web pages. It's called a spider because it crawls over the Web. When a spider identifies a link to a page, it captures the site information. If a user specifies one or more of your keywords as search criteria, the search engine will return your site description in the search results reported to the user.

Enter a site name, a short description of your site, and a list of keywords in the fields below. If a webcrawler locates your web site, it captures your site information, and uses your own description and keywords to index your page in the search engine database.

NOTE: Entering this information does not register your site with a search engine.
